Our History
The Manker Ranch was established in 1956 when Neil and Bernice Manker purchased the farm. Their sons, Bob and Darrell, farmed the property for several year before Bob and his wife Vicki purchased the farm in 1999. Kirk and Dawn Manker and their children, Kristen and Brady, were fortunate to purchase the farm from the estate in 2020. It was a dream come true. We are so excited to continue the pride of ownership! We are looking forward to passing the farm along to generations to come.
Our Dream
Our dream is to pass along the tradition of our parents and grandparents of being good people that pride themselves in hard work, being respectful of others, and having pride in their family and farm.
What Makes Us Unique
We (Kirk and Dawn) consider ourselves fortunate to experience life in South Dakota and Nebraska, yet be provided the opportunity to purchase the family farm. We realize tomorrow is a gift...not a given. We want to give our next generation the same opportunity to experience the wholesomeness of growing up in rural America.
Our Family
Kristen Manker
Kristen graduated from Oregon Coast Community College in Newport, OR. She is the barn manager at a local horse training and boarding facility. She brings a love of horses, dogs, and the rural lifestyle.
Brady Manker
Brady graduated from Creighton University in Omaha, NE, with a degree in Neuroscience. He is currently a M 2 at Creighton Medical School. Brady has a passion for making the world a better place to live.
Kirk and Dawn Manker
Kirk and Dawn Manker are looking forward to be being part of the Manker Ranches tradition.
